SYDNEY HOMELAND SPRING 2024 – CONNECTING THE VIETNAMESE COMMUNITY
Yesterday afternoon, on February 13, the Consulate General of Vietnam in Sydney hosted the “Xuân Quê Hương” (Homeland Spring) program, warmly welcoming the Vietnamese community living, working, and studying in the city. The event was made even more special with heartfelt performances of Quan họ Bắc Ninh folk songs and an introduction to the beauty of Đông Hồ paintings – a cherished Vietnamese cultural heritage.
VATIP was honored to support the Quan họ delegation during their tour in Sydney and Canberra, bringing the essence of Vietnamese homeland to the overseas community.
During the event, Mr. Nguyễn Thanh Tùng – Consul General of Vietnam in Sydney – presented a Certificate of Recognition to VATIP’s Director, Mr. Harry Tran, for his positive contributions to the Vietnamese community in Australia and his efforts in strengthening the Vietnam–Australia partnership in 2024.
VATIP remains committed to being a strong bridge, fostering trade and cooperation between the two nations.
