Yesterday, an event titled “Embracing Change, Transition, and Trust: Exploring the Future of Australia-Vietnam Relations,” organized by the Vietnam-Australia Policy Research Institute, took place in Adelaide, the capital of South Australia. This significant event, attended by senior leaders from both countries, aimed to foster a comprehensive strategic cooperation between Australia and Vietnam in this new era.
Representing Australia:
- Mrs. Frances Adamson – Governor of South Australia
- Mr. Don Farrell – Minister for Trade and Tourism of South Australia
- Former Australian Ambassador to Vietnam
- Australian leaders, organizations, and businesses were in attendance.
Representing Vietnam:
- Mr. Bùi Thanh Sơn – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam
- Mr. Nguyễn Trí Dũng – Minister of Planning and Investment
- Vietnamese businesses participating in the panel.
During the panel, delegates analyzed in detail the competitive advantages and cooperation potential between businesses from both countries. Notably, the policies of both governments aimed at promoting bilateral cooperation were actively discussed.
As a bridge between Vietnamese and Australian businesses, VATIP participated in this key event to contribute insights that would further enhance the cooperative relationship between the two nations. Additionally, they listened to and shared perspectives on government policies as well as explored opportunities to connect with more Australian enterprises.
The event was not only an opportunity for businesses from both countries to better understand each other’s markets and support policies, but it also opened new doors for promoting bilateral trade, increasing investment, and enhancing cultural exchanges.
